Upon hearing I was a breath away from dialysis, I had a mini meltdown. My nurse, Anna, gave me some much needed encouragement and compassion. She talked me back to reality and didn't leave my bedside until the tears stopped flowing.
From that time, every time Anna came back to check on me, it was a spark of hope as I knew she had faith in my recovery.
Anna is truly a joy to be around. She is quiet but highly skilled in nursing and extremely compassionate. I appreciate everything Anna did to help me recover.
