Anne spent the most time with M in her most dire hours. M was in pretty bad shape at the beginning of her voyage, she begged me to shave her head. I kept insisting that she really didn't want that, she'd regret it. Anne was in the middle of those conversations and immediately took M's side saying, "we will do whatever we need to make M comfortable, whatever it takes". Anne has an admirable work ethic and dedication to her patients.
It's hard to relay what Anne did for my wife. Anne went way beyond the call of duty to eradicate an issue. I found M in tears afterward saying over and over, "she's an angel, she's an angel from God".
Even now, months later, when M or I mention Anne's name to people hearing M's story from Overlook, M wells up with tears and says, "Anne cared for me in a way that nobody will understand. She was an angel sent by God".
