In her practice as a Care Management RN, Anne works tirelessly to meet the needs of the surgical patients on her unit daily. She often comes in early and leaves late in the evening to ensure every detail of her patients' transitions are safe and personalized to meet their intricate needs. I receive multiple compliments monthly from patients, families and even her co-workers recognizing her hard work and dedication. They often detail how Anne had a tremendously positive impact on their personal situation. Anne's knowledge regarding post-operative patients is really at an expert level. I can always rely on Anne to provide a level of insight and detail that is astounding to those of us without her expertise. Anne is without a doubt a nurse of extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care who exemplifies the Mercy values every day. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve with Anne and to have her on my team.

It is with a heavy heart that we remember and celebrate our beloved friend and co-worker Anne, who passed away unexpectedly in January of 2019. Anne was nothing short of a gift to the Mercy family. She was as dedicated to her patients as she was to her friends and family. As her obituary appropriately reads, "She was a woman whose strength of heart and care for others was only surpassed the love she had for her family and friends. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend."
