Anne Dowd, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CNOR

Anne Dowd has been an integral part of the Periop team at NYP Westchester for over 17 years. She has held various roles that support the Periop Department and the Surgical Unit, including Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) and clinical Nurse educator. Her vast Periop experience has been utilized to onboard new staff and ensure the ongoing competency of existing staff. Anne has provided a safe learning environment for all Nursing staff. She spends time precepting RNs, graduate Nursing students, and Surgical Techs. Anne’s positive and friendly disposition reflects the essence of Nursing- caring, compassionate, and competent.
