Anne Green

When I agreed to precept, I expected an eager, but run of the mill student. When I met Anne Green, I got anything but that. Anne was excited about labor and delivery and wanted to see babies born. What Anne got though was post-partum hemorrhages, fetal demise, shoulder dystocia’s, STAT C-sections, and many other unexpected outcomes. While this may have shaken or scared many new grads or nursing students, Anne was calm in the storm. Anne has the bedside manner of a seasoned nurse. She talks to patients with a caring attitude and respect. Where some people may struggle with this human aspect, Anne excels. I felt so proud when I listened to her calm the patients, ask them questions, or care for them. Anne did get to experience some happy labor and delivery events too, but she got more than she bargained for. Anne will be an excellent nurse, and I will be proud to be her colleague.
