I trust her with my life. When I see Anne on the floor I am immediately at ease.
I was promptly admitted to the hospital with another migraine cluster. They are triggered by stress and barometric pressure changes. I am due to see a Headache Specialist at Princeton Rutgers Headache Center next week. However, it being 6 days & very little relief that I would normally get from my daily prescription migraine meds (daily Imatrex injections), Tylenol, Ubrevly & light caffeine, I needed to go for IV steroids. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon as I am trying to find the correct treatment, causes, right Drs., etc.
One doctor and Anne are what I call my “dream team”. Anne is a woman who goes, goes, goes but never forgets a patient. She treats everyone with true TLC in a work setting where patients are often treated and sent on their way. Before administering the IV, she covered me in 3 warm blankets to ensure I was comfortable. She was able to get my IV in on her first attempt and I have very small veins. As I had to wait for medication, she checked in to make sure I was okay. It’s not easy to be in pain and be all alone. She gave me the comfort I needed when my family couldn’t be there. Anne administrated the medication with care, and checked in on me and I could hear her working adorably with a little boy on the other side of my curtain. This may seem like a simple quick visit, but I have been to this location so many times I sometimes panic when I see a new Dr. who hasn’t treated me before & decides to try medications that have already been tried & failed in the past.
Anne has treated me many times now. She has prepared me for transportation to the hospital, which was intimidating, and she has given me excellent medical advice over time. I trust her with my life. When I see Anne on the floor I am immediately at ease. I know she knows my history, treats me like a human being, and treats me with care and concern. Anne, with my doctor, make “The Dream Team”. "
