I've had diplopia since I was 12 years old. Usually, I can see just fine looking at things straight-on. Two days ago my eyesight was double vision no matter how I looked at it and I became scared. I had a stroke a year ago and Nurse Anne knew of my past medical history. She was a stroke nurse and she explained to me and carried out the pre-stroke protocol. I was scared and she was uncompromising in her commitment to compassionate, ethical, quality patient care. I felt good that she cared for me. She helped me when I was scared and reassured me that it would be alright.
