Anne is wonderful at making my anxiety through all this much less, too many examples to provide, as she’s always kind, willing to help, and gives me good advice. I heard her with other customers/patients as well, and she’s just as wonderful! Hospitals can be tough for a lot of patients, the feeling of being vulnerable and sick can make a patient feel a lot of anxiety and fear. I felt like I was at home with her. She’s a keeper.

Anne Mancio completely “demonstrates excellence through her clinical expertise and extraordinary compassionate care”. Regardless of what my problem was, Anne always brought those problems to light and she did so with a bright smile and a quick “No problem”. I once had a bowel problem to which Anne suggested a stool softener. I know... that problem is gross to contemplate but… it worked! A few days later I was a new man! Empathy from nurse to patient can make all the difference in the world.

Among other things, God put us on this earth to be kind, patient, and understanding to one another. Anne has this down in a measure that defies belief. My problem above demonstrates this completely. The rigors I had to endure during that healing process were downright painful. Anne’s attitude in the healing process was monumental … “No problem” in her words. I immediately felt safe and secure in Nurse Anne Mancio’s care. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Anne Mancio is a huge credit to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
