During the end of my stay in MIU, I was feeling the effects of post-partum, and the fact that my daughter is in the NICU compounded my emotions. Anne Marie gave me words of encouragement and advice to help me move forward. Rather than patronize me, she was realistic and practical in her approach, allowing me to grieve openly. Thank you, Anne Marie, for helping me during some of my darkest moments.
