I was a patient at Hackensack UMC at Pascack Valley for same day hand surgery. I was accompanied by my sister. We were both so impressed with the level of care and quality of services we both received. We were especially impressed with Anne, the nurse who headed up our preparation team. Her whole demeanor, from the minute she greeted us, promoted a calmness and trust that we were in good hands and would be made as comfortable as possible. Everything was fully explained and every question answered. Anne could not have been more attentive or shown more compassion, empathy, concern and personal interest in my well-being. Having Anne remain with me from beginning to end, especially when this was a first time experience for me could not have been more comforting. We never had to look for anyone or wait for anything. The total care was unbelievable.
