July 2024 Honoree
Anne Slattery, RN, BSN
Over the last few years, my brother has struggled with homelessness and mental health issues. He has had multiple admissions to the Saints Campus, and more recently, as his medical conditions have gotten worse, he has also been admitted to the Main Campus. Over the last two years, he has been a "frequent flyer" to the hospital, but Anne Slattery has always been there for him. She has been there to start his difficult IV, convince him not to sign out AMA, get him a hot cup of Dunkin's, or just to be a smiling face. My brother has lost his battle, and I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Anne for her compassion and for keeping an eye on him.
Thank you, Anne, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
