September 2025 Honoree
Anne Taylor, RN
The first nurse to greet me and check on me was Anne. I was so nervous, but that quickly subsided upon her greeting me. She was funny, upbeat, professional, caring, and so much more. I truly felt safe in her care. Actually, everyone in that department was friendly, caring, and professional. They didn’t treat or talk to me or other patients as if we were just a job. They treated me well. Anne really stood out the most. She was also there when I opened my eyes after the anesthesia wore off. I heard her voice. I was so relieved it was her. She also wheeled me out of the surgery department to my ride, and she maintained the same awesome attitude and had a good, funny conversation.
Thank you, Anne, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
