We had Anne Way for the day shift. She immediately recognized how exhausted we were and she took it upon herself to do everything she could to make sure we could rest.
One of the issues we had during the nights is people constantly coming in for various reasons. During the day, Anne kept people out of the room and handled all tasks herself when she came in to check on my wife and baby. She brought us meals, took out the trash, things like that to help stop the constant flow of people in and out of the room and let us rest.
This letter does not do justice to all of the things that Anne did that were above and beyond the scope of normal nurse duties that helped my wife, my baby, and myself physically, mentally, and emotionally.
