Anneliese deserves all the praise. She is hands down the best nurse I’ve ever encountered. This was my third time delivering at Trinity, and Anneliese will forever leave an impression on me. She was born to be a nurse/caretaker. I was hoping to have a natural delivery. With my first two, I had an epidural, so for my last baby, I wanted to see if I could do it, and because of Anneliese, I did. She was my biggest cheerleader. I can still hear her whispering to me, "You can do hard things." She’s right, and I absolutely did. She was the first nurse that I had who never left my room, even in the beginning stages. She stayed by my side and talked me through everything. Even if I was not in pain, she stayed. I’m not saying the nurses I’ve had in the past were bad. Far from that! However, Anneliese's passion, sincerity, and empathy spoke volumes. She’s truly a nurse who loves her job. She deeply cares about her patients. If I would have asked her to massage my back for 8 hours, she would’ve. People like her don’t exist much anymore. I truly can’t rant and rave enough about her. She is such a special person, and Trinity should feel honored to have her on their team. Thank you!
