Annemarie McCook, RN

We are currently staying in an inpatient. Came in through the ED due to vomiting. Once admitted, Annemarie McCook became our nurse on the fourth floor of Gen Peds. For two days, she took incredible care of us. During this time, through her experience, watchful eye, and care, she realized that our son was experiencing something more than a normal cyclic vomiting episode, and after scans revealed he had appendicitis. We've always been impressed by the quality of care, especially our nursing staff. But Annemarie was above and beyond. She made it personal. It was clear that she cared deeply about our son, even staying later than her shift, and coming back at the very end with her coat and bags on just to say goodbye.
