Annet Kabanyoro is a Dean in the Faculty of Nursing at Kampala International University who was so innovative and instrumental during the Covid-19 Pandemic. She mobilized students in her faculty to make scientifically acceptable face masks that were used in schools and other health facilities in the country. She promotes research and Evidence-Based practice in her teaching and encourages nurses and midwives to impress research. She championed health education in the prevention of Covid -19 and visited most of the regions that were hit by the pandemic. She is a team builder and willing to mentor junior staff and students. She has a passion for the nursing profession and advocates for professional growth .
