My six-year-old daughter was scheduled for surgery and she was very nervous. She once had open-heart surgery, so now, knowing she has to have anything done makes her nervous. Annette came in and was the SWEETEST to her. She spoke to her at her level and explained things in a way that got my daughter kind of excited. Apparently, while in the OR, my daughter said that she wanted to be a surgeon someday, so before we left, Anette got her a to-go package. She gave her a surgical gown, cap, booties, gloves, and a mask. It’s all been sitting on the table for almost a month because my daughter wants to save it for when she is a surgeon. So, Annette got her another set so she can dress up now and still save the first set for when she is a surgeon. Anette is wonderful with kids and makes them feel at ease. She deserves special recognition.
