Annie Callender, RN

As a patient, I was here for surgery, and the entire day, I was kept on a stretcher and unable to obtain meals or basic standards of care for 10+ hours. At 9 pm in the late evening, a special person cared for us. She quickly restored my faith in the heart of Florida Hospital by raising expectations and meeting every concern, issue, and frustration before. Her actions led to saving my sanity by ensuring she was my advocate. She saved my life by guarding my safety, and she even fought for basic services to allow my husband to be cared for through diversity and inclusion. Had it not been for her, I would not be here as a patient and trusting of the AdventHealth brand, except the best of the organization lives on through outstanding Ambassadors like Annie.
