Annie L Rutherford, RN

Annie Rutherford is an RN in the medical imaging department who has helped me 3 times with an MRI. I am very claustrophobic so I always request IV sedation. This time she let me know that this MRI would only last 4 to 5 minutes and I had the option of not having the sedation, which I chose. However, she prepped me in case I needed it and told me, as always, they would we be right there with me, and if I pressed the emergency ball they would pull me right out and she could quickly start the IV sedation. Well, thanks to her calming attitude and caring words I decided to try. Thanks to Annie I made it through without any anxiety. During the MRI she would gently touch my leg or toe to comfort me and let me know she was right there should I need her. She is a fantastic RN and really wonderful person. Kaiser is lucky to have her.
