Annika was the most amazing postpartum nurse. She showed so much interest in my baby and my family. She was my overnight nurse on my last night and she saved us by helping us correctly identify that I was having a terrible skin reaction to what was used to scrub in during my c-section. She believed me, listened to me, and offered some solutions. Then she immediately gathered more advice from fellow colleagues and called my doctors on my behalf to get a prescription for the correct creams to help with the very painful rash. This was all while letting me and my family sleep.

She always came back to check on me exactly when she said she would and took care of whatever need she said she would. My baby was at high risk for jaundice and she knew I was anxious about it. She made sure to deliver the results as soon as they arrived and call our pediatrician as well to get the next steps before bringing the information to us.

Annika was so caring and thoughtful in her care. She really made all the difference in my postpartum experience. Annika was our overnight nurse last week while I was recovering from a C-section birth. Our newborn son was in the midst of cluster feeding before my milk had come in; he was incredibly fussy and my husband and I were feeling delirious from a lack of sleep. Annika was SO supportive and helpful - she held him and helped feed and burp him; she gave us tips on how to feed; and was generally reassuring about us keeping our son healthy and fed. We cannot thank Annika enough for her positive, encouraging attitude, and for sharing her expertise when my husband and I asked her lots and lots of questions. Anyone who gets to work with Annika is lucky!
