I was happy to see such caring staff on this floor. From volunteers to the charge nurse, everyone was more than kind. Annita helped me figure out why I was having hallucinations. She did not offer me drugs, she listed to what I had to say. I was not really expressing myself well. I told her that I felt like "Alice in Wonderland" and every time I went to sleep I would wake up hallucinating. She stayed in the room with me, calmed me down and explained sleep deprivation and stress were causing my hallucinations. I am grateful that my needs were met with so much compassion.
