As first-time parents going through labor for the first time, we didn't know what to expect and during our most frantic hour, Annmarie was our lighthouse in the storm. She checked in on us to make certain we were as comfortable as we could be (given the circumstances) and advocated heavily on our behalf. Like most first-time mothers, E wished to try labor without anesthetic or drugs but finally reached a point where that changed. Annmarie was quick to make evaluations and even bumped us up in priority for the epidural. She was our rock for helping find ways to keep Dad engaged and finding ways to help keep things intimate and personal as well. She was definitely our biggest cheerleader and help during labor as her many years of experience shined in all that she did. We are so grateful to have had Annmarie in our corner and thank her for going above and beyond in our time of need.
