Anthea Gibson sees no boundaries when caring for her patients. Anthea's elderly patient nominated her the DAISY Award due to her willingness to go the "extra mile". The elderly patient was being visited by her elderly husband. The patient's husband left the hospital to drive home but became confused and ended up several miles away from home. The patient, distressed to learn that her husband was lost and confused confided in Anthea. Anthea called 911 to alert them of the elderly husband lost and confused. The paramedics, under Anthea's direction found the elderly husband and brought him to safety. Anthea cares for her patients compassionately above and beyond.
