My mom was brought in recently.  I was a mess but Reedy was able to bring some relief to me by answering all the questions I had and kept me updated the whole time my mom was here until she got transferred out.  Reedy was very attentive and communicated with us very well the whole time we were here. He made sure my mom was being taken care of and comfortable the whole time. I am forever grateful for Reedy being my mom’s nurse.  Ridgecrest Regional Hospital is very lucky to have him working in the ER.  He loves and cares for his patients, and his actions show.

Reedy was my wife's nurse. He was supposed to be off his shift yet he stayed and took care of my wife.  She didn’t get flown out until 2 am and Reedy stayed until she left this facility.  He took care of her, made her very comfortable, was very attentive, and would communicate with us and explain everything to us every step of the way.  He is a very good nurse.  Ridgecrest Regional Hospital is very lucky to have him working in the emergency room. I am forever grateful for him being my wife’s nurse and making sure that she was as good and comfortable on her last days.  Thank you, Reedy, for everything you did for not only my wife but for my family.

My grandma was brought in by ambo.  Her heart had stopped at home.  Reedy was supposed to get off the clock at 7pm that night but he stayed on until the very early hours of the morning to take care of her and make sure she was not in pain.  He would talk to her and rub her hair out of her face while giving meds or anything else he was doing.  He was very kind and caring.  Sadly my grandma passed away in the early hours two days later, at a different hospital.  I want Reedy to get this award because he showed my grandma and our family he cared about her and us.  He made sure she felt no pain and only felt kindness in what we didn’t know as her final ours on this earth.
