When Anthony was a teenager his grandmother came to live with the family. Helping to care for her, he knew he was destined for a career in the health field. Anthony became an Emergency Medical Technician. While dating, Anthony and his girlfriend Theresa were encouraged to pursue nursing by her mom a nurse who was working in Critical Care at Maimonides.

Anthony and Theresa attended the College of Staten Island together and graduated as RNs. Theresa, became his wife and her mom, Theresa his mother-in-law.

Anthony was hired as an RN in the Open Heart unit in 2003 where he worked for four years before his transfer to the Rapid Response team. Anthony excels in this role and loves the fact that he "brings the ICU to the patient", while "enhancing the practice of the beside RN."

Thank you, Anthony, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
