RN Banda called me upon having an appointment for podiatry. I have a lot of medical problems and Banda took my vitals and had a talk with me. Looked at my chart and told me what was happening with my systems. Banda talked to me like in the military and told me where my illnesses were taking me to. Told me I needed to change my ways of eating and lifestyle. Also advised the readings he saw on my lab tests were not good and that if I did not I would end up in dialysis.

Banda explained everything to me and made me realize that he was right and needed to change. I changed my way of eating for a start and 1 month later I saw him again and thanked him for talking to me and helping me change. I also told him that I had dropped 8 pounds and advised him that I was on my way to a good start. I would also like to thank all of the nurses and PA for the care I have been given. They are very helpful and make me feel very respected. I have never nominated or thanked anyone in writing.
