His kindness, empathy, and dedication to his patients and colleagues make him a truly exceptional individual. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, and go the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of others.
I work with CPS and wanted to share a wonderful experience working with RN Diaz. He was very helpful when we were working on a case for a pediatric patient on the BICU/PICU. He was on top of everything, he was quick to provide everything asked for, the patient’s history and plan of care. His demeanor was very professional and positive throughout our interaction. This was a very difficult situation, but he was very compassionate and caring.

She recognized Anthony for his compassionate care and very quick response whenever she called on him. He treated her with respect and was always positive in his interactions. Even when he wasn’t assigned me as his patient he would take the time out to still check in on me and answer my calls.

As I round on the Burn Unit I often hear Anthony’s name from patients and how wonderful and carrying he is from his patients.
Anthony was also nominated by his peers for consistently instilling steadfast dedication, unwavering compassion and masterful clinical skills in those he precepts on the Burn Unit. His actions are nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets Anthony apart, is his remarkable mentorship skills and leadership abilities. He takes the time to invest in the growth of his colleagues, providing them with the guidance and support they need to succeed. His mentorship extends beyond clinical skills, as he also fosters a positive and inclusive team culture, where collaboration and support are paramount. He has mentored many students in the BICU/PICU.
Anthony’s positive impact is not contained to our Burn ICU team as he always offers assistance to various other unit staff members who seek his expertise. Anthony's contributions are numerous and phenomenal. His team-oriented mentality has been paramount in fostering a cohesive and effective work environment where everyone feels valued and supported. He leads by example, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence in everything they do.
