Anthony Hawthorne, LPN

Anthony is a bright light in the room. He goes above and beyond to learn about coworkers and how to help them. I received numerous compliments throughout the day about how warm and welcoming Anthony is when rooming patients. Anthony left brief notes to set the tone for the visit by creating an agenda and reminding us of key prior visits and follow-up items. I gave this nurse several tasks, including multiple ECGs and applying Unna boots, and they did it with a smile, and we stayed on time. This nurse has a natural knack for figuring out how to help without being asked, frequently checks in with coworkers to see how life is outside the clinic, and offers great humor and advice. Anthony is passionate about his work and routinely goes beyond the job description to ensure patients are getting the best care possible.
