He would get down right next to our mom and encourage her to look at him, or talk to him.
There are 2 types of workers. Those that come to work to collect a paycheck and those who come to work because they love what they do. There is a difference between the two. Tony stood out as someone who loves what he does. Our mother had neck/spine surgery. This was a very worrisome time for our family as we watched our mom in a helpless state. Tony showed such compassion toward our mom, and we are so grateful for that. He was soft-spoken. He would get down right next to our mom and encourage her to look at him, or talk to him. He was so helpful. He was able to answer numerous questions and was willing to do what he could to help us. He was kind to us, and more importantly, it was very clear to us that Tony cares about the people he encounters.

We are happy to report that our mother is finally home and doing great! She continues to receive PT, OT, and speech therapy at home. We have a comfort care nurse who stays with her during the day (but we may not need the service for much longer). Thank you Tony for not giving up on our Mom!
