He is an angel to any and all patients who may end up in his care.
I came into the trauma ICU on a ventilator as a trauma patient but ended up not needing to be a trauma patient. Anthony was my nurse, and I’ve never seen someone be so meant to be for a career. He was the kindest person and the most sincere. From the moment I was placed into his care from the emergency room until he wheeled me out of the building to my mother’s car, and even though I was sedated I could still hear everything they were saying. He treated his staff with such kindness as they cleaned the sand off of my body, which continued on to me. I had to cough up the tube which might’ve been one of the more challenging moments of my life. He guided me through it along with my father who was in the room with me. I got through it. Thanks to him and considering the choice I made that led to me being in a trauma ICU didn’t deserve that much kindness he still gave it to me. He is an angel to any and all patients who may end up in his care. I’m beyond grateful that I am able to write this and learn from my mistakes. Anthony, I pray to the good lord above I never ever ever ever have to see you again, but I hope you know you made a horrific moment in my life a little less horrifying, and I’ll always remember how kind, how wholesome, how gentle and compassionate you were throughout that whole ordeal. So, thank you. I promise to teach my staff to do as I say never as I do.
