Anthony was caring for a patient who was decompensating. He quickly called the on-call physician for orders and the ICU to make sure he was doing everything in his power for the patient and the family. He was calm and informative. I witnessed him interacting with the patient who was blind and he was so caring and warm with her. Anthony showed all the characteristics of what defines a great nurse.
