I brought my niece to the ER. When I arrived, she was actively having seizures. Anthony immediately came outside to the car and started to treat her. I was very scared and nervous. He was so calm and knowledgeable. I watched in awe as all of the team members quickly moved around each other. In a sea of nurses and doctors there he was. Kind, compassionate and so caring. He spoke to me as the team went on doing what they needed to, explaining things to me as they were happening. While we were waiting to be admitted and the team was working to stabilize my niece, he was there. I watched as he cleaned up vomit and attended to another child who was also having seizures. He always smiled and came right back to us. I don't think he ever sat down. He treated us like family during an emergency. I told him I was so sorry to bother him, and he smiled and told me we were no bother at all. When I cried, he came to check on me. Each time I voiced a concern or another seizure began, he was there. He made me feel very comfortable and his calmness helped to calm me also. When we were moved to our room, he was also the person who brought us. Once we got to the room, we didn't want him to leave. What an amazing nurse. Anthony is simply amazing. Being a nurse is defiantly his calling. I don't have enough words to say thank you.
