Anthony Phillips, ADN, RN

I wanted to acknowledge what a wonderful nurse Anthony was for the two nights he has taken care of me. Anthony was on time with giving my scheduled meds as well as always answering the call button very quickly. This helped me to stay in front of the pain which is always better than having to catch up. He was extremely kind and always asked and made sure that I had everything I needed. I am so impressed with all of the nurses I've had but every now and then you see the ones who go above and beyond for their patients. Anthony fits into that category of going above and beyond to care for his patients. We are both watch collectors and seeing his watch cheered me up so I told him. He said he would try to wear one I would like or that I wanted to see. He did wear one and it's just the little things like that, that show the patient that they matter and that the nurses here truly care and go to great lengths to help cheer patients up. I've been here more than 2 weeks and will likely be here another few weeks so it can be hard to smile at times. Anthony brought a smile to my face by going the extra mile to show his patients they matter. His knowledge and care really show.
