I am in the triage tent with Anthony today. We just had a family member come looking to visit her mother. She recognized Anthony and told her that he had taken care of her mom in the past.
The mom has a history of alcohol abuse, and the daughter told Anthony that her mom was recently admitted here for treatment. She chose to come to Salinas Valley for treatment due to Anthony's care of her during her last stay.
The daughter said that Anthony's care and discussions with her mom surrounding treatment and it being a journey really stuck with the mom and made her want to come back here to try to become sober. The daughter thanked Anthony for the care and compassion that he showed her mother.
