My second night here, January 9th, I was depressed and lower than any time in my entire life. I saw no hope of tomorrow because this cancer will kill me. I don't know how but I truly believe God sent Antoinnette to my room at a time I needed someone.
The first time she asked how I was, I said "fine". She said, "Are you sure, because if you need to talk or anything I'm here". That's what I needed to hear, and as I began to talk she sat down like I was her only patient. I went from worrying one day to being in the hospital that night fighting cancer. I went from a possible blood clot in my lungs to small cell cancer in my liver, lungs and brain.
As we talked, Antoinnette encouraged me and made me feel I could beat this and live many more years. Her words of what she has seen and been witness to miracles lifted me back on my feet. She helped me realize all I had to fight for. I will fight and win this battle and forever thank GOD for sending one of his angels to my room the night of January 9th.
