Antonia took the time to give my elderly mother a shower before discharge and was so kind and loving to her. She could have easily just discharged her without the shower. But beyond the extra effort of the shower, she was so sensitive to my 88-year-old mother’s needs throughout her stay at Hecktown Oaks. I asked if I could take Antonia home with me. She is certainly in the right profession. She treats her patients with respect and selfless thought for herself. My mother lives with me. She has Lewy Body Dementia so I know what a challenge that can also be. Antonia is a true credit to her profession.
