"Josh" is truly the definition of an outstanding and hardworking nurse. Day to day he works tirelessly to care for his patients even if it means he does everything by himself (because he is stubborn - Hahaha). Today, while dealing with an already exhausting shift, I was in the room with a patient who suddenly became ill and vomited all while vomiting from his trach, and I had NO IDEA what to do. Frantically screaming for Josh, he came to the rescue and assisted me with suctioning the patient and calling Respiratory to ensure the patient was safe. Being a PCT can be scary sometimes due to our somewhat lack of knowledge in certain situations, but when I work with certain nurses, especially Josh, I feel comfort in knowing our patients will always be well taken care of and well helped. I truly look up to Josh and am thankful for every shift I get to work beside him. Kudos for always being the best nurse you can be, Josh.
