... My mother is lucky to have Antonio as her nurse. Antonio checked on my mother every time he passed the room. He is very experienced and thoughtful. He separated the time for clonidine and sotulor, he gave my mother warm wipes on her back to help her sleep. He slowed down the IV infusion to protect her port. He used a luer-lok tip syringe to give my mom medicine through the G-Tube utilizing the small opening on the G-Tube (no mess, not detaching the connecting of the feeding and suction, he said he usually would use the red catheter of soft rubber to do the suction not the hard, clear tube RT uses, which surprised me, because I used this similar way of suction at home and I asked RT, everyone of them, if they can order a catheter tube for the suction purpose so it wouldn't hurt my mother's throat. Their answer was no. The clear, hard plastic tube is what the hospital supplies and they can't order something different. But Antonio does really makes a difference for a patient. I appreciate what Antonio has done for my mother! It is the nice little things that make Antonio stand above others.
