Antonio is a leader and exemplary role model for all nursing staff. Recently Antonio's knowledge and flexibility helped a critical patient. Utilizing his knowledge of Swan-Ganz catheters and advanced hemodynamic monitoring, Antonio was able to assist the trauma surgeon with this procedure, while educating new nurses on the complex issues that the patient was presenting.
Antonio consistently provides support and shows an initiative to mentor new nurses and assist staff in providing safe patient care. Antonio is a role model, someone whom the team looks up to and counts on for support. Antonio creates a calm environment even in the most stressful situations and advocates for patients, families and staff.
