Apantree Akkamaetee detected the hematoma which was developing in the area of my head and neck post operatively. Contacted my surgeon, sent him photos using her phone. He rushed back and performed emergency surgery promptly. Professional actions by my nurse, Apantree Akkamaetee, saved me from potentially disastrous results. I am truly grateful for care offered to me by the surgeon and nursing staff. But it was an early detection and swift action of my nurse in the post-op room which helped me most.
