April is always willing to go above and beyond, for not only her team, but also for her patients. Tonight, April voluntarily stayed three hours past her shift to help me out with taking care of a very critical trauma patient who was rapidly deteriorating. With April’s help, we were able to tag-team and stabilize this patient and get him transferred from our Baywood ED to another Banner facility. I have had the pleasure of working next to April for years and I have always witnessed her dedication, patience, empathy and compassion firsthand. There are not enough nurses out there practicing with the heart that April has! Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Baywood ED are both better because of April. I appreciate everything you do, April. Thank you!
