April Blair, RN

April provided care for my father, for 2 days while he was in the hospital with pneumonia. He is 91 years old and very hard of hearing so needs patience and a lot of advocacy when he is in new situations. April jumped right in to understand him and worked to meet his needs. She listened to me as his caregiver and daughter. I felt she brought her expertise but respected and integrated what I knew of my father’s care at home and what “worked” so that he had as seamless as possible procedures and had regimes that followed. She is knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, observant, and truly puts her patients’ care at “top of her priority.” She is a jewel and represents the best of the heart of nursing. I am going home with Daddy today with the confidence that he received loving and excellent care. Thank you, April. You are an angel and an unsung hero, so we now sing your praises.
