April was nominated for her hard work, dedication and the personal relationships that she develops with her patient and families.Recently, one of her patients passed away andApril reached out to the mother. She so appreciated the gesture she brought cookies to the hospital to thank April for contacting her, listening to, and comforting her.The mother stated that April went the extra step, where others may have avoided her, due to a lack of knowing what to say.
When you ask April about the special care that she provides, she simply states that she was just doing her job. April loves her job. When she talks to parents she thinks of when her children were younger, and it helps her know what to say.
