I came to Boswell Hospital from another facility after being there all day long due to cardiac issues. By the time I got to Boswell, both I and my girlfriend were tired, irritable, and physically and emotionally drained. Even though it was late in her shift, April took the time and effort to help us get admitted and settled in. She was not only efficient and professional; more importantly, she listened to our concerns and worries in a compassionate and empathetic manner and went out of her way to allay our fears and provide for our needs. She went above and beyond "routine nursing care". That day, she was "our hero", and did an awesome job.
