My dad was in the hospital for one month. Two weeks were in the CCU unit. April Chapman was not only a wonderful nurse to my dad but she was there for me and my mom as well. Even when she wasn't dad's nurse for the day, when she would have the time, she would check on him and us. We could see her in the hall and April always would have a hug for us, took time when I needed to talk, and was such an encourager. It meant so very much to us. It was a very scary time for us. She was such a bright spot in our time there. April is an exceptional nurse and an exceptional human being. We just fell in love with her and we are so blessed and so fortunate to have had her in our lives at such a very hard time.
