I was out of my head facing possible brain surgery. I was scared but she consistently talked me down very calmly. I'm far from home all alone. Every shift she was there, she was cheerful and calm. I never saw a frown on her face and she was always willing to chat and explain things to me. She was a comfort to me. 0-10 she is a 20.

April is amazing. If any levels changed, she was right there. She made my scared-to-death wife not be scared. April's attitude and confidence changed my wife's attitude and helped her believe she would get better. It was not one thing. April is why we always come to UTMC.

April has been so considerate from the beginning! After being admitted to the NCC after my brain surgery, she was so kind and compassionate. She facilitated getting permission for my babies to visit me. She made sure to get help with my difficult IV sticks. April was so sweet, she even read me a poem that was encouraging regarding the vision loss I am dealing with. April was always quick to help and was always ready to answer any questions or assist with any task. No matter how big or small, April was so professional, careful, thorough, personable, and always watching over me. She gave me and my family such peace as we were going through this very scary and difficult time. April will definitely not soon be forgotten!
