April DeLeon, RN

April was with us when my mom passed. She was with us a few days before too. I was there with my mom for two weeks, we had the honor of having April as our nurse a few times during our stay. She was our favorite. She was knowledgeable when needed and also compassionate when I needed that too. She gave me hugs when I needed them. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make to let my mom go and no longer suffer. April knew what to do when I didn’t. I don’t know what I would have done without her. She even brought humor into a sad situation. My mom got a little out of her mind and got superhuman strength and fought us. April nicknamed her “Rocky”. I’ll never forget April’s kindness to us all.
