April Guevara-Bradley, RN
As part of my appointment in urology, April was the nurse who checks me in. My appointment was with an NP, who was also nice, but I was impressed and grateful for the caring concern by April. She exhibited sincere interest in getting the information correct. She wanted to be sure I was comfortable.
After my appointment I was ushered back to April. During that time she shared with me her appreciation for my service in the Air Force. As I answered her questions about my Vietnam service, she stopped inputting and looked me in the eyes and truly listened to my comments. She was obviously moved and concerned. I am grateful for April and her dedicated service to me as a veteran.
We are fortunate to have VA in support of our aging process. God has a plan for us, but with the help of April and the VA, it becomes bearable.
