April works hard every time she comes to work. She goes over and beyond every shift! She always helps everyone in any way she can. She can always get the baby to breastfeed when no one else can. She is the kindest, most humble, hard working person I have ever known.
Tonight, when I came in, April was in charge. She was working on the assignment for the 11-7 shift and she gave herself more patients than anyone else and assigned herself to admit the first new patient. She never stops during the night. If she isn't going above and beyond for her patients, she is offering to help other nurses. She is also patient and encouraging. There is never anything but encouraging, kind words coming out of her mouth. She will do anything for anyone, anytime.
She truly is the best nurse that I have ever met. Hardworking, thorough, kind, and competent. She deserves this DAISY Award.
