April Harlan was my nurse at night during my stay. She came in to do my and baby's checks and suggested I let baby stay in the nursery so I could rest. That decision was the best ever! April discovered baby was breathing way too fast and immediately jumped into action. She got her settled and came to talk to me and my husband. We figured when her shift was over, she went home and didn't think much else. A little bit later, April knocked on our door. She came to tell me she was able to talk to my doctor to increase my medications to help ease my stress about my blood pressure and was also in constant talks with our pediatrician about our daughter. She also came in to just check on me because she could tell how overwhelmed I was. She answered all of my questions the best she could and offered to pray for us which we were extremely thankful for. April saved us! We were supposed to go home and we are beyond thankful she was able to get us the help we didn't even know we needed to save our daughter. April will forever be in our hearts and someone we will never forget and be forever grateful for.
